THE OPPORTUNITIES ARE BOUNDLESS

Does our global society need large projects to build and renew our infrastructure? Do we need projects to discover, develop, and produce more oil and gas, or invent and create alternative energy systems that will serve us for decades and centuries to come? Will there be projects to improve and create information technology systems or related equipment, and cope with the increased technical complexity? Will we need to develop and manufacture the systems to keep our society safe? Will companies manufacture the transportation of the future? I’m sure we will. I’m also certain there will be project engineers that integrate, coordinate, and lead the efforts of others within their areas of responsibilities and beyond.

Approach your job with confidence and commitment and then things will start to fall in place. Take care of the job and the people. Conduct your business with high standards of ethical conduct. Be sensitive to the ideas and concerns of people from other cultures. Learn from those around you and those who have preceded you.

You have the tools in your toolbox to launch your career and to succeed. “Begin it!”
